Right Effort

Paddling is a great way of life, It takes determination and dedication to maintain the stamina to be able to be as good as you can be. This Spring I have put some major effort into the paddling life, with the help of Shawna and Leon of Body Boat Blade, and a few friends I have made along the way "Seth". So far I have made some major steps in achieving my goals in my paddling career, and some major plans have been put into place. I achieved my level 1 coach, 2 star award, and 3 star sea award in less than a year. I have also completed the first half of my training for my 4 star sea award. I also received the honor of being asked to be a lead instructor at a symposium in Seattle!! http://northwestpaddlingfestival.com/

I say it all the time to all the people that I take on the water or meet in the paddling community, you can take this sport as far as you want to and be rewarded with any effort you put into your skills. I have been pretty proud and surprised by all the people who have been coming to me in my life this spring. Some to learn more about the sport or to help push my skills farther, and I thank you all for your enthusiasm. Keep coming out I love spending time with you all!!

Some major changes also occurred during this time, I have watched my relationship with my fiance Justine dissolve and reform into a friendship. It has been really one of the most challenging things I have ever had to face, and I thank everyone for all for your support during this time. I really wouldn't have wanted to do it without you! I put this blog aside until now and I am excited to start writing in it again!!

Coming soon... Lessons i learned from the coast, Negative feedback from guided tours, Coach level 1 training re-cap, Canoeing OMG, and The return to the deception pass tidal race!!

Stay tuned for some announcements in the future about my first expedition...
