Skooks report # 1
Breaking through the boiling eddy line, you drop off the edge into a clear blue green dream, Sooo many sea stars clumped in groups across a shelf, where the water moves so fast that the bull kelp blows like hurricane winds on palm trees. You look down deeper and see the chitons and then a jelly fish blows bye like a Jet fighter. Oh yeah now I remember I am on this wave then you start to turn, The sound of the water rattles bye on the sides of your boat and you and your boat are free, you always were free. In this place so magically full of life, but hold on a minute this wave this moving force has another idea one a little bit tricky possibly sinister. She spits you off sideways and then sends you into a whirlpool mine field of Boils so large that you should probably check your underwear. Its hard to remember how spectacular the feeling was when you watch a friends hand protruding out of the water holding on to a boat while getting sucked down into the biggest whirlpool you've ever seen. Again and again I find myself humbled bye the sea.
